Johns Hopkins volleyball extends win streak to 16

Unbeaten Blue Jays rally from two sets down to defeat St. Mary's

The Johns Hopkins volleyball team rallied from two sets down to defeat St. Mary's on Saturday, capping a perfect weekend and extending the Blue Jays' season-opening unbeaten streak to 16 matches. The 16 consecutive victories are the most in the history of the program.

Senior captain Amelia Thomas recorded a career-best 37 digs against the Seahawks, and Jasmine Warmington and Katie Schwarz combined for 31 kills in the 17-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-14, 15-11 victory.

The Blue Jays (16-0) also defeated Muhlenberg (25-17, 25-9, 25-22) on Friday and Messiah (25-9, 25-18, 26-24) on Saturday. JHU returns to action tomorrow at Stevenson at 7 p.m.
