The Johns Hopkins volleyball team rallied from two sets down to defeat St. Mary's on Saturday, capping a perfect weekend and extending the Blue Jays' season-opening unbeaten streak to 16 matches. The 16 consecutive victories are the most in the history of the program.
Senior captain Amelia Thomas recorded a career-best 37 digs against the Seahawks, and Jasmine Warmington and Katie Schwarz combined for 31 kills in the 17-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-14, 15-11 victory.
The Blue Jays (16-0) also defeated Muhlenberg (25-17, 25-9, 25-22) on Friday and Messiah (25-9, 25-18, 26-24) on Saturday. JHU returns to action tomorrow at Stevenson at 7 p.m.Read more from hopkinssports.com
