JHU volleyball remains perfect with win against Gallaudet

Rogers, Thomas lead Blue Jays to 13th consecutive victory

Sophomore Ellen Rogers recorded 15 kills and senior Amelia Thomas added 19 digs to lead the Johns Hopkins volleyball team to a four-set win against Gallaudet at Goldfarb Gym on Thursday. The Blue Jays improved to 13-0 with the victory, the best start in the history of the program.

Freshman Jasmine Warmington and sophomore Katie Schwarz chipped in 12 kills apiece for JHU in the 20-25, 25-22, 25-8, 25-20 win. Freshman Carolyn Zin and sophomore Mariel Metalios each had 20 assists.

The Blue Jays visit Muhlenberg tonight at 7 p.m., then face Messiah and St. Mary's (Md.) on Saturday.
