Kronick nets hat tricks, JHU women's soccer blanks St. Mary's

Sophomore has scored 7 goals in past two games, 11 for the season

Sophomore Hannah Kronick netted a hat trick for the third time in seven games, leading the Johns Hopkins women's soccer team to 5-0 win against St. Mary's at Homewood Field on Wednesday night. Kronick has 11 goals on the season, including seven in the past two games. She scored four goals in a 4-0 win against Washington College on Saturday.

Kronick scored once in the first half and twice after halftime against the Seahawks. Kelly Baker also scored for the Blue Jays (6-1-1), who also benefitted from an own goal by the Seahawks in the 19th minute. JHU outshot St. Mary's 10-1 and had three corner kicks to none for the Seahawks (2-3-1).

Johns Hopkins, ranked No. 6 in NCAA Division III, visits Muhlenberg on Saturday at 3 p.m.
