Freshman class welcomed on First Night

Students gathered on the Lower Quad last night for the First Night candlelight ceremony, where upperclassmen officially welcomed the new freshman class to the Johns Hopkins student body. Student Government Association president Moses Song and the class council presidents spoke, and the event was followed by a celebration. The First Night tradition began in 2009.
