Sophomore Matt Carey staked the Johns Hopkins men's soccer team to a 1-0 lead in the first half, but William Paterson rallied for a pair of goals to claim a 2-1 win against the Blue Jays on Saturday afternoon at Homewood Field.

JHU (0-1) was scheduled to face Rutgers-Camden on Sunday in the consolation game of the Blue Jay Invitational, but that match was cancelled due to weather. The Blue Jays return to action Saturday against Kean in Elizabethtown, Pa.
