Photos: Rain doesn't dampen spirits at JHU Staff Appreciation Picnic

Despite changes to its day, time, and location because of the arrival of Tropical Storm Andrea, the annual JHU Staff Appreciation Picnic drew more than 850 faculty, staff, and their families to the Johns Hopkins at Eastern campus earlier this summer. ´Celebrityâ serversflsenior administrators and other high-ranking JHU officialsfldished out grilled items and other barbecue fare. A DJ involved guests in trivia games and line dancing. Children played games, got faces painted, won prizes, and devoured mouthfuls of cotton candy. Originally scheduled for a Friday afternoon on the field behind the campusís building, the event was moved to Saturday on the parking lot.
