Celebrating Lunar New Year

Several student organizations took part in Lunar New Year celebrations over the weekend across Baltimore City to ring in the Chinese Year of the Rabbit and the Vietnamese Year of the Cat. The Lan Yun Blue Orchids, Hopkins' classical Chinese dance team, performed at the Lunar Night Cultural Festival at Baltimore Inner Harbor, and the Yong Han Lion Dance Troupe, a student group who focus on the traditional lion dance, performed at the Walters Art Museum.

Hopkins Dining's Lunar New Year festival, featuring traditional food, activities, and giveaways, will be held at the Hopkins Cafe this Thursday, Jan. 26.
