Finding a Lab and Securing a Position: A Workshop for Undergraduates

Undergraduate Research Ambassadors Drew Cavanagh and Mamadou Thiam from the Office of Undergraduate Research, Scholarly, and Creative Activity will give a brief presentation on how to find a lab and principal investigator that are the right fit and will then lead a hands-on workshop on writing effective emails to secure your spot. They will provide one-on-one coaching to help match you with the right lab and to get your email wording just right. This workshop is suitable for undergrads at every stage hoping to join a lab in any capacity.
