Description

The Johns Hopkins University MA in Writing program and MA in Science Writing program invite you to join in the kickoff event of the spring series of Author Talks.

The featured writer is Evan James, a new Johns Hopkins Writing faculty member, who will discuss his novel, Cheer Up, Mr. Widdicombe, and his book of essays, I've Been Wrong Before.

James is an award-winning writer whose personal essays and fiction have appeared in such publications as Oxford American, Travel + Leisure, and The New York Times, among others. He received a Master of Fine Arts in fiction from the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
