In observance of Intimate Partner Violence Awareness Month, join the gender violence prevention team under Health Promotion & Well-Being for lunch and an open discussion to connect with your peers.

The discussion will begin with a short mindful eating activity to ground ourselves, followed by a facilitated conversation about how culture shapes relationships and marriage and how intimate partner violence affects perceptions of commitment. Attendees will also discuss intergenerational expectations and strategies for self-care while navigating different family expectations. Food will be provided.
