Description

Caryn Seidman Becker, the chair, CEO, and co-founder of Clear, will give a talk titled "In Conversation with Caryn Seidman-Becker" as part of the Leading Change: Perspectives from Outside of Medicine Conversation Series 2024-2025.

A Q&A session will follow the lecture.

Clear is the secure identity platform transforming the way people live, work, and travel. After acquiring the company in 2010, Seidman Becker has since grown Clear into a global, customer-obsessed brand serving 58 airports, more than 25 million members, and hundreds of partners across the travel, health, and sports industries. As CEO, Seidman Becker's vision is to create a world that's friction-free for everyone everywhere simply by being themselves. Before Clear, Seidman-Becker started Arience Capital, a +$1 billion value-oriented asset management firm investing in a broad spectrum of industries. Today, she is a board member of The Home Depot, the Partnership for New York City, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, and The Teak Fellowship. Born and raised in Maryland, she is a graduate of The University of Michigan. She lives in New York City with her three children and two dogs.

The goal of the Leading Change: Perspectives from Outside of Medicine Conversation Series 2024-2025 is to help us think about ways to improve the patient experience at Johns Hopkins by learning from experts in other fields and disciplines. The lectures are open to all members of the Johns Hopkins community. In order to allow for an open exchange between the speaker and the audience, the lecture will not be recorded for rebroadcast.

Please attend the event by using the Zoom link (Passcode: 431746).
