Description
The Data Science and AI Institute and the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences (KSAS) recently launched a series of symposia about the confluence of artificial intelligence with the humanities and the natural and social sciences. The goal is to create a community of KSAS scholars whose interests include using AI tools in their research and/or are studying AI's impact on society.
In this timely symposium on Oct. 10, 26 days before U.S. elections, the speakers will address various aspects of how AI and data science interact with democracy. Each speaker will give a talk on the topic, followed by an audience Q&A session, and a reception for speakers and guests.
Speakers:
- Adam Sheingate, Department of Political Science
- Andrew Perrin, Department of Sociology
- Henry Farrell, Department of Political Science and School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS)
- Anjalie Field, Department of Computer Science
