Description

Margaret Roth Falzon, BA '11, MA '12, a principle at Squadra Ventures, will host a conversation with first-hires and founder-followers who have started-up startups, hosted by the Pava Center.

There's more to a startup than the founder, there's the people that actually start it up: director of product marketing, chief revenue officer (a.k.a. CRO), sales engineer, project manager, business development representative (a.k.a. BDR). Behind every founder is a team of operators that you've never heard from. This is the panel for the execution-obsessed, whether you are exploring a career pivot to early-stage companies or seeking learnings to help move forward in an existing role. For those considering working at startups, the panel will detail the transition into a startup and how to harness a background from any field so that you are positioned to become a key contributor to a great team. For those who already work in startups, panelists will offer a look at how to build the processes that set up lean teams for outsized success and blaze a trail for personal growth in these emerging career paths.

This panel will show that you don't have to be the founder of a company to write the next great startup story.
