Ira Helfand, a leading figure on the International Steering Group for the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, Nobel Peace Prize winner, and past president of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, will discuss the escalating threat of nuclear war, its catastrophic consequences, and what we, as citizens and health professionals, can do to prevent this global disaster.
