Advanced Grant Writing Workshop for Johns Hopkins Faculty
Description
Sri Sarma, professor of biomedical engineering and vice dean for graduate education and lifelong learning at the Whiting School of Engineering, is offering an interactive Advanced Grant Writing workshop on writing specific aims pages (or vision and goals introductions) for grant proposals. This is a hybrid workshop.
The Advanced Grant Writing: Specific Aims Workshop is tailored for anyone preparing to submit a grant for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) or National Science Foundation (NSF), including Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and other translational grants, for the first time or who has not been successful with grant submissions.
Faculty members will facilitate a group discussion during the workshop, evaluating each component of the specific aims section to ensure it is clearly stated and compelling. By the end of the workshop, you will understand how to approach and write your specific aims section and proposal in general. The workshop provides 1 CEU credit.
