AI Speech Model and Pizza Session

Description

The researchers at the Center for Language and Speech processing are collecting casual and spontaneous conversations to construct a database that will assist them in training expressive artificial intelligence (AI) models for dialogue.

Please join this recording session accompanied by a slice of pizza. By having more spontaneous conversations, the Scalable Spontaneous Speech Dataset Research Team aims to gather better samples of real dialogue interactions to build its AI models. The conversations, facilitated through an app, are designed to be easygoing and relaxed, much like chatting on the phone.

Attendees who complete an hour can get a $5 Amazon card compensation and can participate as many times as they want to accumulate minutes for their Amazon cards. Participants must be 18 years of age or older to take part in this study. This is also an opportunity to meet the dedicated researchers driving this project, primarily led by undergraduate and graduate students.
