Johns Hopkins Congressional Briefing: What's Next for Psychedelics?

Johns Hopkins University will host a live virtual congressional briefing on the future of psychedelics. This live briefing is the latest installment in an ongoing series that allows policymakers, their staff, and members of the public to gain up-to-the-minute insights and analysis from Johns Hopkins experts.

The briefing will provide attendees with an opportunity to learn about the latest research from experts, who will also answer questions in real time.

The briefing will cover topics such as: policy hurdles to implementation, potential economic impact, psychedelics as treatment, and much more.

The following Johns Hopkins experts are scheduled to speak:

• Frederick Barrett, Associate Professor, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine
• Sandeep Nayak, Assistant Professor, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine
• Matthew Eisenberg, Associate Professor, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
• Moderator: Lainie Rutkow, Vice Provost for Interdisciplinary Initiatives, Johns Hopkins University
