SAIS Summer Academies and Direct Admissions Info Session

Description

Come learn about the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Summer Academies in Bologna, Italy, and Washington, DC, as well as the SAIS Direct Admissions Program. Lunch will be provided.

SAIS Summer Academy courses introduce students to the challenges of international conflict analysis, management, and resolution. Students will build practical skillsets through excursions, case studies on peacekeeping and peacebuilding, debates on intervention, guest speakers, and role-playing exercises. Students will earn four graduate credits, and the Academies are open to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors and recent graduates.

The SAIS Direct Admissions Program allows undergraduate students with a cumulative 3.33 GPA from the Whiting School of Engineering or Krieger School of Arts and Sciences to be eligible for direct admission to a participating master's program at Johns Hopkins SAIS within two years of graduation from Homewood.
