Description

REC-Maternité is a digital health job-aid for improving maternal and infant care at primary health care facilities in Burkina Faso. To support the implementation and evaluation of REC-Maternité, Terre des Hommes, with the support of the Burkina Faso Ministry of Health, partnered with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health to better understand the adoption patterns of the tool over time as well as its impact on district-level utilization of maternity services and the quality of antenatal care services and client satisfaction at primary health care facilities.

The webinar will consist of a presentation and a moderated discussion section. The presentation will provide a brief description of the REC-Maternité intervention as well as the partnerships engaged in its rollout. Speakers will then introduce the evaluation's design along with the results and the impact that REC-Maternité had on the quality of care. Finally, speakers will share preliminary results of a process evaluation of the implementation of the tool. The second half of the webinar features a moderated discussion with questions from the audience. This webinar will be bilingual in English and French.
