Description

The Transcendental Meditation (TM) course is an evidence-based approach to improve your well-being. The TM technique is simple, natural, and effortless. It practiced 20 minutes twice each day while sitting comfortably with the eyes closed. Through TM, you can reduce stress and anxiety, decrease the impacts of depression and trauma, improve sleep, and improve intelligence, creativity and your learning ability.

Health Promotion & Well-Being invites you to apply to be part of the sixth cohort of TM participants. This eight-week program is structured to help you gain the benefits of the TM technique while learning skills and connecting with other students.

Space is limited. To participate in the cohort, students must commit to the entire program to gain the benefits of the TM practice. If this schedule does not work for you on this round, there are other Johns Hopkins meditation and mindfulness offerings and TM may be offered again in the future.

The information session, which is required, includes introductions to teachers and other Johns Hopkins students and an overview of the program. Program applications are due Sept. 12 by noon. Please attend the event by registering for the Zoom session and using the link.
