Humanities in the Village: William Egginton in Conversation with Sean Carroll

Kicking off a new year of Humanities in the Village, the Ivy Bookshop and the Alexander Grass Humanities Institute celebrate the release of William Egginton's new book, The Rigor of Angels: Borges, Heisenberg, Kant, and the Ultimate Nature of Reality. Discussion and audience Q&A moderated by Sean Carroll (author of The Biggest Ideas in the Universe) will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the Ivy's outdoor back patio followed by a book signing, refreshments, and browsing.
Egginton is a Johns Hopkins professor in the humanities, head of the Spanish subdivision, and director of the Alexander Grass Humanities Institute. Carroll is a Johns Hopkins professor of natural philosophy.
