Sips and Science with B'More Women in STEM

Please join the Greater Baltimore chapter of the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) for "Sips and Science", sponsored by Genscript, featuring casual talks by brilliant local women in STEM:
- Savanah L. Saldaña-Shumaker, co-founder and co-owner of Nazte Beauty LLC, presenting "Turn Your Nasty into your Nazte: The Evolution of Nazte Beauty, LLC"
- Helen Dooley, assistant professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the Institute of Marine & Environmental Technology, presenting "Can Sharks Help Us Fight Human Disease?"
Talks begin at 6 p.m. with time to network before and after. This event is free and open to both AWIS members and nonmembers. Nonbinary and gender nonconforming folks are encouraged to attend.
The first 20 guests will enjoy a free drink ticket, and there is a raffle of items generously donated by favorite local Baltimore businesses.
Free parking is available at Checkerspot Brewing Company.
