Built to Scale: Exploring Challenges and Successes in Scaling Evidence-Based Health Interventions
Description
Programs to reduce disability are crucial to the quality of life for older adults with disabilities. Unfortunately, few such programs have been replicated and scaled beyond initial research settings. CAPABLE is one such program, designed to help seniors age in their own homes and communities. Initially tested in a 2009 randomized control trial, it has now been implemented in multiple settings across the country.
Join the RESILIENCE Center for a conversation with CAPABLE co-developer Sarah Szanton, who will offer practical advice learned from scaling this innovative program.
