Ada Ferrer, author of the Pulitzer Prize–winning book Cuba: An American History, will give a talk titled "Writing Between Personal and International History: Cuba: An American History" for the Department of History.

Ferrer is also a professor of history and Latin American and Caribbean history at New York University. Cuba: An American History, which was the 2022 Pulitzer Prize winner in history, is a study of the complex relationship between Cuba and U.S., examining more than five centuries of Cuba's past.

This talk is a Leonard and Helen R. Stulman Lecture, sponsored by the Department of History.
