Description

Join an interactive discussion about the Impostor Phenomenon (IP) and learn some new skills ... all while eating pasta.

This 1.5-hour workshop will offer the chance to build insight into IP. Participants will learn about the factors that lead us to feel like impostors (including cultural and family messages), develop a better understanding of their own experience of IP, and learn how to resist impostor feelings. The workshop ultimately aims to provide skills to combat IP and increase feelings of empowerment. The workshop includes both presenting information and space for personal reflection.

This event is sponsored by the First-Generation, Limited-Income (FLI) Network and co-hosted with the Johns Hopkins Counseling Center.

The Impostor Phenomenon Workshop will be offered three times in Spring 2023: Feb. 23, March 28, and April 24.
