Description

You have seen the telescope images, but do you know about the engineering marvels behind their creation? As part of National Engineers Week 2023, and in collaboration with the Whiting School of Engineering, the Johns Hopkins Aerospace & Aviation Affinity members invite you to hear from Keith Parrish, James Webb space telescope commissioning and observatory manager at NASA, about the engineering behind the images. This is a unique opportunity for all students (not just Whiting), professors, alumni, and the broader Johns Hopkins community to hear firsthand about one of the engineering marvels of our time.

A lite dinner will be served before the program.
