2022-2023 Music at Evergreen Concert Series: Lun Li

Evergreen Museum & Library's popular and eclectic Music at Evergreen concert series returns for its 69th season, presenting live music in the museum's stunning Bakst Theatre.
The series concludes with violinist Lun Li, a recent graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and a current master's student at the Juilliard School with Catherine Cho and Joseph Lin.
A native of Shanghai, China, violinist Lun Li won First Prize in the 2021 Young Concert Artists Susan Wadsworth International Auditions, the Paul A. Fish Memorial Prize, and the Buffalo Chamber Music Society Prize and was named John French Violin Chair at Young Concert Artists. He is also the recent joint winner of First Prize at the Lillian and Maurice Barbash J.S. Bach Competition. An avid chamber musician, Li has participated in the Marlboro Music Festival in Philadelphia; the Verbier Music Festival Academy in Switzerland; Music@Menlo's international program in Atherton, California; and Music from Angelfire in New Mexico. Li holds a Bachelor of Music from Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and a master's from The Juilliard School. His mentors include Ida Kavafian, Catherine Cho, and Joseph Lin. He is currently pursuing an Artistic Diploma at The Juilliard School where he serves as teaching assistant to Catherine Cho.
