Johns Hopkins University hosts a live, virtual briefing on the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI).

The upcoming briefing features a panel of Johns Hopkins experts. Topics to be discussed include:

  • AI language-learning programs such as ChatGPT
  • disinformation campaigns
  • ethical concerns involving AI
  • AI in health care
  • everyday use of AI

The following Johns Hopkins experts are scheduled to speak:

  • Tinglong Dai: Professor, Johns Hopkins Carey Business School
  • Henry Farrell: Professor, Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and SNF Agora Institute
  • Debra Mathews: Assistant Director for Science Programs, Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics
  • Benjamin Van Durme: Associate Professor, Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering
  • Alexis Battle (Moderator): Director, Malone Center for Engineering in Healthcare; Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science
