Description

Join this interactive session with guest speaker Dylan Kilby, a mountaineer and survivor, on outdoor therapy and healing through recreation.

The program will include:

  • a 30-minute presentation on Kilby's story of healing through climbing and hiking
  • 15 minutes of Q&A
  • 45 minutes of top-rope climbing at the Ralph O'Connor Rec Center climbing wall

The climbing session includes basic instruction and safety preparation. No previous skills are needed.

This event is hosted by the Gender-Based Violence Team.
