Description

Tia Brown McNair, Estela Mara Bensimon, and Lindsey Malcom-Piqueux discuss their book, From Equity Talk to Equity Walk: Expanding Practitioner Knowledge for Racial Justice in Higher Education, which delves into design and application of campus change strategies for achieving equitable outcomes and provides guidance on building an equity-minded campus culture, aligning strategic priorities and institutional missions to advance equity, and more. They will be interviewed by Anita Davis, vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion at Trinity College.

This event is free and part of the online book conversation series Academic Innovation for the Public Good, organized by Stanford Digital Education and Trinity College. Each event features an author of a recently published book exploring the role of colleges and universities in addressing society's problems. An expert in the author's field will conduct the interview, followed by questions from the audience. Johns Hopkins University is among the sponsors of the conversation series.
