Description

The Alexander Grass Humanities Institute, Department of Classics, and Peabody Conservatory will host a symposium and screening of Michael Hersch's opera Poppaea.

Guests include librettist Stephanie Fleischmann, soprano Ah Young Hong, and Associate Professor Lauren Donovan Ginsberg (classical studies) at Duke University. The event will be moderated by Nandini Pandey, an associate professor of classics at Johns Hopkins University.

The symposium and screening will be followed by a discussion and reception.
