Johns Hopkins University will host a live virtual briefing for congressional staff and policymakers about food insecurity, malnutrition, and the socioeconomic dynamics of hunger set against a backdrop of major supply chain disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and war in Ukraine.

The briefing will provide attendees with an opportunity to learn about the latest research from experts, who will also answer questions in real time. It will cover topics such as: food insecurity on a global scale, socioeconomic disparities, food system resilience, maternal and child nutrition, the challenges of mitigating food insecurity in the U.S. and around the world, and more.
