Description

Mental, physical, and behavioral health are largely determined by our social and built environments, including whether or not communities can regularly access quality preventative and emergency care. Often, these healthcare fields are impacted by other industries, such as a resident's access to public transportation, safe housing, or healthy food. Halle Tecco, MPH '20, and André Blackman believe that in order for everyone to have access to quality, affordable healthcare, the healthcare industry needs to work across industry boundaries. Join Tecco and Blackman as they discuss what "working across boundaries" means, what it looks like, and what innovative companies are doing well.

Halle Tecco is the founder of Natalist, which was acquired by Everly Health in October 2021. André Blackman is the founder and CEO of Onboard Health, a specialized executive search and advisory firm focused on creating a more inclusive future of health. This event is part of the Bloomberg School of Public Health's Spotlight Series.
