The Geographic Management of Cancer Health Disparities Program (GMaP) is an NCI initiative with the goal of contributing to the science of cancer health disparities by inspiring and developing the next generation of cancer researchers. The Center to Reduce Cancer Disparities facilitates the Kimmel Cancer Center's involvement in GMaP. GMaP offers many opportunities available to both faculty and students (including undergraduates), in the form of conferences, trainings, and funding. This nationwide initiative is made up of six regions, and the state of Maryland is located in Region 1 North.
