Climate change is causing significant negative impacts on water and air quality in the Chesapeake Bay region and impacting public health, particularly in Baltimore City.
In this event, Robert Summers, a senior advisor to Blue Water Baltimore and lecturer at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, and Rep. Tony Bridges, executive director of Blue Water Baltimore, will discuss:
- the impacts of climate change on our air, water and public health in Baltimore City
- what is being done locally to mitigate and adapt to the impacts of climate change
- how we can all contribute to these efforts
