Description

The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in partnership with the Nu Beta at-Large Chapter of Sigma will offer a monthly Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds Continuing Nursing Education Series, providing an educational program led by top researchers from around the world.

In this grand rounds, Karen Trister Grace ('19), an assistant professor at George Mason University in the School of Nursing, will state risk factors and health outcomes associated with reproductive coercion and summarize research subtopics related reproductive coercion. Attendees will understand intersecting concepts of intimate partner violence and pregnancy intention.

The Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds Series will offer attendees one free contact hour upon completion of a post-event quiz after each session with the goal of fulfilling the JHSON's mission of providing lifelong learning for health care professionals within the community.

The Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds is sponsored by the Nu Beta at Large Chapter of Sigma, the Honor Society of Nursing. The Nu Beta Chapter was established at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 1992. In 2018, the Johns Hopkins Health System joined the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing to become the first At-Large Chapter of Sigma.
