Climbing for Healing
Description
The Center for Health Education and Well-Being is hosting an interactive session with guest speaker Dylan Kilby, a mountaineer and survivor, on outdoor therapy and healing through recreation. This event is part of the center's Sexual Assault Awareness Month programming.
The program will include a 30-minute presentation on Dylan's story of healing through hiking/climbing, 15 minutes of Q&A, and 45 minutes of top-rope climbing, including basic instruction and safety preparation. No previous skills are needed.
All Johns Hopkins students and trainees are welcome to join. Participants will receive well-being stickers and freebies. All in-person events at Johns Hopkins must follow university COVID-19 policies. See current guidelines online.
