Women in STEM Symposium
Description
Women of Whiting at Johns Hopkins University presents the Women in STEM Symposium featuring leaders from academia, industry, and government in keynote talks and panel sessions with a focus on the future of women in STEM. The event will conclude with a networking and poster session encouraging students to submit and present their work. Julie Des Jardins, a historian of American women and gender and author of The Madame Curie Complex: The Hidden History of Women in Science, will give the keynote.
All in-person events at Johns Hopkins must follow university COVID-19 policies. See current guidelines online. The symposium will be in a hybrid format, with in-person events taking place on the Homewood campus and virtual components conducted via Zoom. Lunch included for in-person participants.
