Description

The Ralph O'Connor Sustainable Energy Institute (ROSEI) is celebrating its one-year birthday by hosting an Earth Day celebration for students with free coffee and an assortment of free pastries. Come get more information about the university's brand-new Energy minor, which is being housed in ROSEI.

ROSEI is also hosting a water bottle design contest with a prompt of "What does sustainable energy mean to you?"

  • Submit designs as a .JPG file by close of business (6 p.m. ET) on April 20 to energy@jhu.edu with the subject line "Earth Day Design Submission." Please include your name and email in the message and do not use licensed elements (such as the shield or Johns Hopkins name) in the design.
  • Come vote during the April 22 celebration.

Students can use any digital platform for the water bottle design or even paint/sketch the design on canvas or paper, but the submission must be scanned in high resolution. The winner will receive a free water bottle with their design on it.

All in-person events at Johns Hopkins must follow university COVID-19 policies. See current guidelines online.
