Description
Calling all budding artists: Evergreen Museum & Library is now offering sketching sessions throughout the museum. The session is for 90 minutes and focuses on a single room. A docent will be on hand to answer any questions about the objects on display as you find a point of inspiration.
This session will focus on the circa 1933 Reading Room, with its teak-paneled walls and bookshelves, cozy reading alcoves, and lunette paintings by Miguel Covarrubias (Mexican, 1904-57).
In order to protect the collection, only pencils or colored pencils can be used when sketching inside the house. Any type of water pens are not allowed. Supplies are not provided with purchase of ticket.
