Identity Series and Cuisine Night: Rigoberto Hernandez, Sofia Angel, and Madeline Sukhdeo
Description
The Identity Series & Cuisine Night is a monthly event series that features provosts/deans/directors/staff/student leaders to speak about their identities with students over dinner. These identities can include race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliations, ability, nationality, and more. The goal of this event is to allow the speaker to address their own identities, tell their story, and engage in conversations about intersectionality with the Johns Hopkins student community.
Speakers for this event include:
- Rigoberto Hernandez, Johns Hopkins professor of chemistry
- Sofia Angel, co-president of the ÓLE Latinx Student Group at Johns Hopkins
- Madeline Sukhdeo, programming intern at the Office of Multicultural Affairs
