Description

This month's Crazy Stressed Asians' meeting will focus on discussing "what identities do we hold and how do they work together?" while exploring the impact of our culture, heritage, and identity on mental health and wellbeing.

Please attend the event by using the Zoom link (Meeting ID: 989 9901 6403).

The hosts for the event are:

  • Crystal Han, child and adolescent psychiatry fellow at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt
  • Amanda Sun, board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist at Johns Hopkins University
  • Angeline Pham, adult psychiatry resident at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt
  • Susan Han, associate director and staff psychologist of Johns Hopkins Counseling Center

This is a collaboration between psychiatrists and psychologists at University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt and at Johns Hopkins including the Counseling Center.

The intention of the Crazy Stressed Asians series is to create a safe community for Asians and Asian Americans of all ethnic backgrounds to explore the impact of their culture, heritage and identity on mental health and wellness. These monthly virtual meetings allow attendees to engage, share, and discuss different key topics to support Asian and Asian American students. We aim to provide support and psychoeducation—we are NOT group therapy. You may remain anonymous if preferred. Personal info will not be collected, shared or published.
