Dessa: Reading and Discussion

Description

Singer, rapper, and writer Dessa has made a career of bucking genres and defying expectations. As a writer, she's published two poetry collections and a memoir (My Own Devices, Dutton 2018). She is also the host of Deeply Human, a podcast created by the BBC and American Public Media.

This event is hosted by The Writing Seminars, the Department of English, and the Alexander Grass Humanities Institute.
