Danaher Case Competition
Description
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual health care trends have continued to accelerate. This competition will focus on the rapid growth of at-home lab testing and issues relating to effectiveness, efficiency, and inequities to access exposure. Competition participants will propose a compelling business model where routine lab tests are performed at or close to home and include digital tools to connect providers to patients, methods to send test results directly to a patient's health ecosystem, and an evaluation of the impact the model has on underserved populations.
Teams of three to five graduate students, including one MS or MBA from the Carey Business School, permitted. Applications will be reviewed by a committee to select the top nine teams to participate in the event.
This health-care-focused case competition is hosted by Carey Business School and sponsored by Danaher Diagnostics.
