A panel of students and faculty members will discuss "Lived Experiences at Johns Hopkins Biomedical Engineering" as part of the "Ableism in Academia" seminar series.
The Department of Biomedical Engineering and its student-led Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) committee is hosting a seminar series titled "Ableism in Academia." Speakers will focus on the impact of disabilities, mental illness, and chronic health conditions on academic experiences in biomedical engineering and the broader scientific community.
