Amy Brusini, senior instructional designer for the Johns Hopkins Center for Educational Resources, will give a talk titled "Introduction to Universal Design for Learning" as part of the "Ableism in Academia" seminar series.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering and its student-led Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) committee is hosting a seminar series titled "Ableism in Academia." Speakers will focus on the impact of disabilities, mental illness, and chronic health conditions on academic experiences in biomedical engineering and the broader scientific community.
