Community Conversation with the Healing Us Together (HUT) Project
Description
The COVID-19 pandemic exposed students to severe educational and social stressors, including social distancing, campus closures, reduced access to campus life, and forced online learning. Those stressors along with systemic oppression, toxic home environments, and anxiety and fears surrounding COVID-19 may increase mental health conditions for students.
NAMI Metro Baltimore invites you to join Paul Archibald, community leader at the Healing Us Together (HUT) Project, and Patricia Cobb-Richardson, director of community resilience at Behavioral Health System Baltimore, for a critical conversation about emotional management and problem solving that will explore safety, emotions, loss and letting go, allowing participants to plan for a healthy future.
This event is part of the I Will Listen Campaign.
