Description

Johns Hopkins undergrads: Learn about a funded research opportunity at this information session on the Cohort Research Investigating Micro-Scale Optimized Networks (CRIMSON) project. Learn more about the CRIMSON project online.

CIRCUIT@APL's CRIMSON project provides compensated, mentored work supporting an ongoing high-resolution brain-mapping project. Students will work with and contribute to state-of-the-art neuro data as well as gain skills and experience in data analytics, software coding, scientific communication, developing independent research questions, contributing to abstracts and papers, and more. The program is from October 2021 to August 2022.

Who is eligible:

  • All majors welcome; students do not need a background in neuroscience, computer science, or engineering.
  • Applicants must anticipate being enrolled through Fall 2022 (not open to current graduating seniors).
  • U.S. citizens only (no green card holders or non-resident alien status)

Compensation:

  • Full-time summer 2022: $9,000
  • Up to $5,000 additional for part time participation and training in Fall 2021 and Spring 2022
