Description

Join the Center for Global Health for the Global Speed Networking for Emerging Women Leaders event.

Using a platform called Gather, participants will gather virtually for a speed networking activity. Think video game meets speed dating, but with the goal of expanding your professional network.

Speed networking is a structured and fast-paced networking event allowing participants to interact with others in a series of brief one-on-one information exchanges. This type of event can provide exposure to a lot of people in a short amount of time. It is a way to let others know who you are and what you are looking for, such as a new job or internship, a mentor, someone to collaborate with, etc.

When you log on, you'll choose an avatar and move from table to table, getting the opportunity to meet someone new every five minutes. Then participants will have time for mingling. The event is intended to be a catalyst for meaningful connection.
