Description

Isaac Kinde, vice president of technology assessment and co-founder of Thrive, an Exact Sciences Company, will give the inaugural Emmett T. Cunningham, Jr., M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H., Distinguished Endowed Lectureship in Medical Innovation and Entrepreneurship, hosted by the School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures.

At Thrive, Kinde is commercializing tests for the earlier detection of cancer from a simple blood draw. Attendees will learn how science changes from bench to business and why it is important that Thrive is in Baltimore rather than Silicon Valley or Boston.
